The following illustrations are studies I carried out in order to experiment with a different coloring style and approach as used in The Wardrobe. At this time I tried to totally eliminate the outlines, in order to make the style more pictorial, or as if they were drawings for children’s books.
The drawings were made by different authors, which I quote under each image.
Adventure game concepts
These studies are related to a new videogame concept set in a futuristic metropolis.

Animal farm studies
These studies, related to the farm animals world, were made for a project called “Stuck in a Pig”. They are sketches and proposals of different characters that would have lived in the game world. The style had to remember humanized animals, with animal features but with evident human characteristics (clothes, posture, or facial expressions)

Style studies
With this series of studies instead, I tried to approach a more pictorial style with more vanished colors.
